JJ stopped in the direct path of the returner. It's not stopping to get a BIB, it's stopping to cut off the route to the end zone after overrunning him. And if the blocker doesn't shove him in the back it doesn't matter. He shoves him out of the way, it's a good call. It's laughable that this is still being whined about.

The touchdown pass was not a touchdown pass anyway. What are you arguing, that he was pushed out? From the numbers? That's a hell of a push. If you're trying to argue that he couldn't stay in bounds with a good 10-15 feet of green from where he was pushed, well, you might be homering this one up a bit.

The cup, I think, was thrown after the ball was snapped or right at it. I remember seeing it fly in camera view (if that's what it was). You can't seriously think they should stop the play that already started cause someone threw a cup, especially on 3rd down.

HERE is the play.

Let's say he was forced out. Then the question is did he immediately return to the field of play. Did he or did he take 3 or 4 steps OOB?

Off to find the cup.
