Ok, Pank.

Help me understand the difference between Eric Berry getting the nod, and Mallett not.

If it isn't stats, then only teams with 10-12 wins should have candidates, right?

If Tebow earns the nod for his teams record, then why should Eric Berry receive the honor?

It's very simple. It's based on the concensus opinion that Berry is the best at his position in the SEC and the fact that Tebow is the best at his position.

It's not solely on stats. It's not solely on record. You've incorrectly come to that conclusion.
