People watch the Big 12 and don't see the quality defense that the SEC presents. You don't have to be a genius to see this. When the big 12 starts playing defense again, they will get some recognition, until then I doubt it. Not to mention the Big 12 needs to get some other competitive teams besides Oklahoma and Texas.
