At Arkansas, about 8 out of 10 years, we had a 2nd season. This is where after the annual October meltdown, Nutt would point to the final 4 to 6 games and dub it the beginning of a new season.

Normally this is presented to the media, players, and fans with the Nutt cliche phrases you hear all the time like "one heartbeat", "holding onto the rope", and about a dozen other classics.

The intent, or end game, was to rally the troops for a hard push at the Cotton Bowl and appease a pissed off fan base.

I honestly have no clue if you Ole Miss fans know what I'm talking about, or maybe you do? Have you heard anything so far about a "2nd season" in '09?

How could you forget, "They Remembah Novembah!"

That one really caught on after two years of going 0-for-October.

Probably not. Ole Miss athletics is defined by meltdowns at the end of the year. They are breaking new ground in '09.
