"Jerrell is a very good athlete, instinctive, he is a playmaker and he can run". I think Bama's defense may get even better with his arrival into the lineup.

Very true but don't expect it over night. He will be rusty (he was on the scout team most of the year) and will make mistakes which is what drives Saban crazy. I think he will play mostly special teams and be moved into the line up slowly. At the end of the year he will be playing a lot. IMO

I would say Redshirt his arse, but I wouldn't want that to look like it was a punishment.

People keep saying this. If he redshirts, he will have to start his punishment all over again and miss 6 games next year. The NCAA has determined that he will miss this many games from one of his eligible years.
