what defines a good coach?

seeing how almost everyone agrees miles is a bad coach it sure as hell must not be winning

He certainly didn't use the clock wisely at the end of the first half...and this is where his critics get their amunition.

True, we should have gotten off a hail-mary play but those are not highly successful plays so that likely did not have any effect on the outcome of the game. If that is the only reason you can call Miles a bad coach, you need to re-evaluate your criteria for a bad coach. We had no timeouts left because Shep and JJ (our 18 & 19 year old QB's) burned them during the half when they were confused. That is what happens when you play young QB's.
