How did he look today from his stats he looked like he had a solid game.... after todays game what areas need the most improvement....

He needs to improve the timeliness of his releases as well as trying not to stare down or pre-determine his receivers.

He looked good....but Russel Sheppard needs to be in on about 15 plays a game IMO.

his damn protection needs to improve when he has time he is pretty damn good, but when flustered not so much, then again it was miss state no offense but their dbs arent florida or bama

Played pretty solid. State's secondary is horrible tough.

How could you expect better with the way our line is playing...no excuse for 30 rushing yards

People would be calling him very good if the OL was worth a shite. Too many third and longs and not enough running game to take the pressure off of him. With the OL playing like they are, he looks slightly above average imo.

I agree, he has zero protection and we cannot run between the tackle's with Scott or Williams. The only way we successfully run the ball our next few week's is to give Shepard more touches. we can't run up the middle and we can hardly throw with the lack of protection. Call me a Nega-tiger or whatever you want but I am concerned for the rest of our season.

he just needs more game experience. he and mallet will be the top qbs in the sec next yr, unless tebow some how stays

He looked poised and ready to take LSU to the promised land

JJ deserves some of the blame for bad pass protection.(or play design) he's dropping way to deep. the OT's have no chance when the DE/outside Blitz can almost run straight up field and get to him.
