bcshog, it's either the short man has the brains to learn the system or the 5* was over-rated coming in. but, then your 5* guy was hyped maybe both physically and mentally?

I don't know to be honest. We have FIVE highly touted backs on our roster. Smith,Curtis,Johnson,Greene, and Wingo. Personally I'm afraid we're seeing exactly the opposite of the scenario we seen under Nutt. Practice is almost exclusively geared towards the passing game and so the RB aren't flourishing. This is the start of the second season and so far Smith is the only back that accomplished shite. I know this irks a lot of my fellow Hog fans; but I'm just as against a one dimensional passing offense as I was against a one dimensional running offense.

We dont want to run in to this problem again. Not the title game, but his career, post freshman year. We cant burn out Ford too soon.

Joking of course. He's just the last freshman starting rb I could think of.
