LSU is staying at the Marriott Gwinnett for the UGA game FWIW. I would imagine they'll be staying there for the UNC game as well. 
Why don't you send an e-mail to TAF or the athletic department. They'd know better than anyone.

I bet they stayed in the big hotel right next to the GA dome. That would be my guess.

Nah, it wasn't the Omni. I stayed there and I can say that the team didn't. I'm sure the Chick-fil-A classic uses the same two hotels every year though, just don't know what they are.
