I have been watching the last couple of games that LSU have been playing, and it sucks! This is a team that should be dog stomping the living crap out of other teams, but for some reason the coach or coaches are not instilling the will to go out and destroy the opposing teams that we are playing. Florida, Bama, and now Tenn, have that will to crush whoever they are playing, while LSU is going out of there way not to offend the other team by not beating them too bad. this is a defeatist mentality. Florida starts the game kicking your azz and does not stop until the game is over, they never let off of the gas! LSU has lost a lot of respect from the other teams in our conference, just the other day a fan from Vandy came over here talking about how they were going to whip our Butts. You heard right - VANDY! Unless we let the dogs lose and start killing teams like we are suppose to, than we are doomed to go back to the bottom of the pack. I want to know how fans from the other teams feel about what I have posted.

I don't think you are 100% accurate but I do understand your frustration as an LSU fan. I actually pull for you guys when you are not playing us and the only thing I am somewhat perplexed by is the defense as a whold and the offensive line.

Y'alls offensive line should be destroying people and the defense just doesn't look like they attach like the use to. I think y'all have a great football team and I think y'all have "more" talent than just about anyone in the conference but there doesn't seem to be any urgency with the way they are playing.

I think LSU should be killing people, and I don't buy the, "we are holding back" bullshite or the, "they were just not up for this game". How can you not be up for the opening game in a football season when you have been working your arse off all year to get to that day.

I detect some lethargy that needs to be corrected.

Just my 2 cents.

Florida, Bama, and now Tenn,

These teams all sport coaches who are very unsportsmanlike.
You pay if you get the chance with a coach like this. When any team can run the score up against you, they will. Miles is a class act, he just isn't the calibur of coach that these guys are.

i honestly feel like that 'killer instinct' was Saban influenced. i've said it before, and i'll say it again a million times... when Saban was at LSU, it was the first time in my adult life i envied a team. i saw a team that was pumped from the beginning of the game through the end of the 4th quarter. savagely hitting people with no regard to their own personal health. standing up after the hits they give and beating their chest and acting all excited even if the game was WELL in hand and nearly over...

it's what makes other teams HATE playing you. and finally bama has a team that's doing exactly that.

thank you Jesus.. thank you Nick Saban!

Dude, you are not in TN's boat. They looked good against a VERY weak opponent. Huskies would have skulled the first timers that UT played, probably just as bad.

The concern if I'm a LSU fan, Is the bend but don't break mentality on defense. Joe Kines did this at Bama, and 3rd downs were a nightmare.

Saban's DB's are terrifying.
That's the difference between Old LSU and New LSU.

Peterson seems like his raw talent is so good that the terrible coaching cant frick it up. The rest of the DBs are pretty bad. Jones looks like he is going through the motions out there.

I am not trying to down anyone, maybe the DB's are some of the best we have had here in a while, but if they don't have that desire to make you pay if you catch that ball, and make you think twice if you do, than I think your coach should be giving you some motivation.

we didn't have killer instinct in the 2nd half last night. If we did we would have put the game away in the 3rd or early 4th. We didn't do that and then after we finally put it away with 2 minutes we showed no pride and let them march down the field

You talk about the second half of saturday night, a football game consist of 4 quarters, not just one half. and let me say this, would you rather play one of our elite teams from the past, or the team that we have now. I know you are going to say that is not fair, but the teams in the past had to start out just like this team.

why is miles so good in bowl games? LSU has beaten some pretty good teams in bowls with a totally different killer instinct than usually seen in the regular season (except a game like 41-9 over VT) Obviously theres more time to prepare but they just look completely different. Lately during the regular season it seems that they wait until the second half to wake up.
