We beat Iowa in our Bowl game, apparently you don't remember. I never once said USC was better than UF or LSU. My point was everyone can say they're this great team/dynasty and I'll keep our trophies. Also, you cannot say USC would have more hardware if they were in the title games. I have 2 issues with that:
1. Great teams make the game. And before you bring up UF losing a game, our strength of schedule is much higher than USC's. If they want to be able to slip up in a game then they need to play tougher teams, outside of the occasional OOC game.
2. Even if USC made the games, you don't know that they would have won. They were supposed to beat Texas, we saw how that worked out.

I think it's funny that you distinguish between greatness and success. You can't have greatness without success.

And we lost to Michigan by 6 points, you consider that a serious margin? Do you even check your facts before you post?

Iowa is 2-1 against LSU/UF, as of late (if I recall correctly). Has Florida ever beaten Michigan or Michigan St? Strength of schedule, like all intangibles, is debatable. Take last year for example: USC played their Pac10 opponents & ND & Ohio State. They cornholed Ohio State btw. ND is laughable - I know. I do not hold it against USC, as it is an old tradition.

If I recall correctly, the last OOC game that Florida played against an OOC foe out of Florida was 1991 (thrashed by Syracuse). Now UF is too scared to schedule OOC games outside of the state of Florida? That is contemptible. You guys are even too scared to play your 2nd biggest in-state rival, Miami. Wicked-lame.

Greatness, in some regards, is not the same as success. I did not come up with the idea.
