Since 2003, USC could have been "game" for any NC title shot

Totally irrelevant. All that matters is if you win the game, which you have to be in in the first place. USC, for all of it's "dominance", has 1 BCS Title, not to mention a loss to Stanford. I, and I'm sure LSU fans feel the same way, will take our 2 BCS trophies and USC can keep the "most dominant team of the decade" title.

Oh, and LSU's tough OOC opponent is nothing more than an in-conference game for USC, so that doesn't really help things.

General13,

Most teams lose at least one game a year. Concerning your example: Did you actually watch the USC vs. Stanford game? Or were you, like most of the cfb world, just happy to see them lose so that you could discount them as contenders? The media is actually biased against USC.

I agree about the Rose Bowl tie-in bullsquash. That is hardly USC's fault.

Tom288,

I am always curious to see what LSU and UF fans have to say about USC. Your argument makes sense on the outside. Cut it open to see the problems. What you are saying is that USC is better than LSU or Florida, but the SEC teams have more hardware. Well, USC would have more hardware if they would be given benefit of the doubt, as UF and LSU were. So a computer spit out a number for LSU/UF that was higher than USC? Who uses computers? If we know one team is better than the other, why are diddling around with a computer? Look at USC's bowl record (and scores). When was the last time they lost? Against a great UT team led by Vince Young in one of the "greatest cfb games of all time" by a slight margin? When was the last time UF lost? Against an okay Michigan squad by a serious margin.
UF needs to stop losing to mediocre Big10 teams...remember Iowa? That is, if you want to talk about your superiority to USC.

You are confusing success with greatness.
