Posted on the rant, just in case any of yall wanted to play too.
1.) LSU averaged 6.7 yards per pass play. Was this more or less than opponents avg against us?
2.) Which RB averaged more yards per carry? Keiland Williams or Richard Murphy?
3.) Who scored more points last year? Charles Scott or Colt David?
4.) Quinn Johnson or Trindon Holliday: Who caught more passes?
5.) Cold David made four FG’s of over 50 yards. Name the four teams they were against.
6.) LSU returns 6 of its 7 leading tacklers from 08. Name them.
7.) Who led the team in tackles-for-loss?
8.) True or False. Jarrett Lee threw for more yards against Bama then he did against Tulane and North Texas combined?
9.) In which game did Scott run for the most yards?
10.) In which game did Williams run for the most yards?
11.) Richard Dickson had at least one reception in every game except one. Name it.
12.) True or False. The same five offensive linemen started every single game.
13.) True or False. The same five offensive linemen including the tight end, started every single game.
14.) Patrick Peterson overtook Jai Eugene for starting right cornerback after what game?
15.) In the past two games against Bama, LSU has committed 19 penalties. How many has Bama committed?
16.) Who was the leading receiver against Gtech?
Posted this a couple months ago, just some interesting stats:
Brandon Lafell's scored a touchdown on his very first collegiate play from scrimmage.
In the first quarter of 2008, we were outscored by our opponents 81-82. This is the first time this has happened since 2002 when we were outscored 78-80 in the 2nd quarter.
Only 2 returning SEC QB's threw for more touchdowns than Jarrett Lee last year: Tebow and Snead.
Of the 54 kickoffs fielded by LSU last year (most in the SEC), only one was ruled a touchback. We also did not return a kickoff for a touchdown. The first time since 2005. An opponent has not returned a kickoff the distance against LSU since 2000.
The leading tackler on offense last year was Charles Scott. (2)
Our last two games last year (Arkansas and Gtech) were the only two games played in front of less than 82000 fans. (55325 & 71423)
Tennessee and Alabama last year gave up the exact same amount of yardage per game. (263.5)
LSU ranked 6th in the conference in both sacks allowed and sacks made last year.
Miss. State allowed opponents to convert 10 of 11 fourth downs.
LSU and Auburn tied for time of possession at exactly 30:12.
LSU had the very best t/o margin for fumbles (+9) and the 2nd worst margin (-10) for interceptions in the conference.
LSU was the only team to attempt an onside kick against Auburn last year. It was the first of two surprise onside kicks on the year and both were recovered by LSU.
LSU’s leading tackler (Coleman) ranked 25th in the league in tackles.

But good thinking, even though most LSU fans don't know the answers to those questions, I'm sure SEC fans outside our fan base will.

You can just guess on the ones you might know. I'm just trying to rid the board of the same exact flames over and over again that have surfaced recently.

LSU's onside kick is obvious, sadly Tubs didn't see it Johnson did and was screaming from the sidelines for it. LSU will have to change that formation or risk it being obvious and giving up very good field position. Miles has made his life at gambling last season it burned him severely at times but still not everytime.
LSu's bad performance last season was due to declining safety play and defensive line, when you couple that with a passing game that was horrible it set up for a bad season.
LSU should be stronger but again the big games will come down to QB play will he soar or tumble.
Also some nice stats for you GT in the bowl game had nearly identical stats YPP total yards. The only issue was GT had key turnovers and never converted inside the redzone. An onside kick recovery and a nonfumble in the redzone that game could have gone drastically different. Luck is a part of the game the question is will Miles luck continue running out or will it come back.

For what saying the truth?
That LSU's passing game was the issue not the running game.
That all of LSU's onside kicks come out of the same formation ever since Miles has been there.
Sorry just stating the obvious. LSU should be a strong team assuming its QB play doesn't suck it up. If it does get ready for another season like last.

If this thread continues to tumble because of masterpieces like "Notre Dame will win the National Title" and "Michael Smith > Charles Scott", then I will be more than happy to correct what you said.
Until then, I still have a glimmer of hope.
