Bama and Ole Miss get hammered for claiming bogus titles (as they should), but I never hear anyone talk about the legitimacy of Tennessee claimimg NCs in 1940 & 1967.

because Tennessee does not brag about them and have them tattooed on their arse and make shirts about them.

We only started claiming those fairly recently. It's stupid, I agree, but Bama started the trend.

I was about to ask that. Because when I was researching for a wikipedia article a few years ago, Tennessee only claimed 1951 and 1998.
