on Florida losing in Death Valley?
Part of me feels like its 97 all over, but everyone is building up so much hype about how its the most likely game for Florida to lose that FLoridas gonna be sick of hearing it and Tebow gonna kill us. Your Thoughts?

40-60 sounds pretty good with it being at LSU and God knows LSU has plenty of talent themselves.

I'd say 50/50. Lsu can be tough in that place and it's one of Florida's only shots at a loss which, it's very hard for a team to go 8-0 in conference. Depends on what you can get out of the QB posistion. Meyer is not real good at stopping a dual threat qb but he's got to complete some passes.

Yea I mean its death valley at night which makes me even more confident in this game that we could actually do it. And Chavis has been decent at stopping Florida. My main concern though isnt stopping the FLorida offense cause im 99% sure we can do that, but its scoring on there D that worries me. Im thinking it 50/50 personally.

I agree. 30 points isn't much of a gap to make up. You guys are almost there.

Well no Jarett Lee probably(or atleast better play out of him), no Harvin, and better defense coaching. Thats 21 right there. We can figure out the other 10 we need somehow.

An experienced secondary and a better offense.. a better team than last season. I'll sport a Florida logo for a week if they beat us by 30 again.

And if the defender had been another step back or timed his jump better and picked off that pass instead of lobbing it up to soften its landing in Harvins hands, the game wouldve had a completely different feel. Same with UGA but that was a pick six.

I just hope UF is undefeated by the time we play them...Tebow tends to get angry when they lose.

30% chance that lsu wins

I've got it 60-40 our way. Our weakness on defense is the DL, which is countered by UF reshuffling their entire OL. I give this area a push.
Chavis is a LB guru, and that bodes well for our chances to stop the UF TE's, which figure to be the Gators's main weapons at least early on.
Our secondary >>> UF WR's.
Like someone said before, I'm not worried about the Gator offense scoring on our D, I want to see what gameplan Crowton has to score on the Gator D.

what are your odds of lsu winning in athens? 90-10?

I hadn't really thought about it. I do expect the Tigers to win though FWIW.

yeah if you've got lsu beating florida, i would think you have them going undefeated and winning the title.

Did you happen to notice the poll on the front page?
Just asking.
