Ole Miss and LSU has a strong rivalry dating back to the 40's


So if that isn't a "traditional" rivalry yet The Egg Bowl is, does that mean that UT isn't a rival of Alabama because it isn't in state?

sorry, you are wrong. lsu and ole miss are just that; tradtional rivals. when ole miss went in their multi-decade funk, the rival ceased to be intense, at least from the lsu side. however, it appears that things might be getting back to the rival stage. in my day (late 60's), lsu vs ole miss was huge. we celebrated the whole week (hell week) and those bas(^&*rd's always gave us a hell of a fight.
