Ole Miss Elimination Game

I prefer championship game, as elimination game suggests that we aren't done if we win.

Hotty Toddy indeed but damn the Hilltoppers can hit the baseball. This is a big game for Mike Bianco and crew as some OM fans are calling for his head if we dont make it to Omaha

We are throwing Pomeranz who threw 109 pitches on Friday. He should be good for 4 inning and go by committee after that.

if boone was to fire bianco for failing to get out of the regional without bittle it would be a huge mistake.

before bianco went to ole miss i dont really remember yall ever doing anything.

After Pom, Baker could possibly go a few innings, Barret could pitch a good many innings, Goforth could pitch some.

We also have Wade Broyles......and put it this way....i don't think WKU could possibly have a scouting report on him. lol

Our bats need to be on fire, because i think that the pitching is close to push.

I'm guessing if we advance Irwin would start the first game of the supers.

couldn't resist. i'd say Irwin first, Buk next w/ committee, then pray Pom can go deep on Sunday.

Also a glimmer of hope that Bittle returns during super regional. If that's a the case, we'll be in terrific shape even with Pom tired

if bittle comes back that would be huge but then again how much can he push that shoulder and would rust be a problem. Also have to think about his future.

I don't know what he'd be able to do, but I honestly think his worst would only be slightly worse than BUk's best.

He doesn't have a future. THat shoulder is fricked for life.

Bittle would be short relief and no more.

He will need corrective surgery after the season, but this is still some hope that he can come back.

It isn't. It will just take him a little longer to make it to "the league" after the surgery.
