Even though he is from Alabama, if I were Mike Anderson I'd stay in Columbia-Mo, it is arguably a Hoops school.
Bama, like Aub, UGA, Ole Miss, and to a degree LSU, has an seemingly indifferent fanbase of football fanatics, that appear to view Hoops as a filler before Spring Football comes.
It has always annoyed this LSU Hoops Fanatic.

Mizzou Hoops has their annual big game with Illinois,etc..Norm Stewart had them up in the polls habitually..last-second game with UCLA's Edney,etc..and get plenty of national respect as a solid Hoops school. Is near St.L, KC, Det, Chi,etc..for recruiting purposes.
Bama Football and Gymnastics rule the Bama Men and Womens roost respectively.
