What are the actual numbers for UGA athletes being arrested compared to other schools?

No opinions, please. Just numbers.

When it comes to cases that end up in Superior Court, or whatever they call Superior Court in the different states, I'd bet we're right around average or maybe even below the average. We rip em a new in state court and municapal court though!

From perplexity :

quote:

For context, the 2008 UGA championship roster had 41 arrests (about a third of players), including Aaron Hernandez

This is the AI that is supposed to become sentient and take over? Yeah, right. Whatever

The chat bots that we use as glorified search engines aren't the AI that's going to become sentient and take over. What we plebians get to play with on our phones is the tip of the iceberg.

I’m not buying it. People say what you are saying all of the time, but never provide examples. And most of the fear mongering comes from the tech industries that AI actually does threaten.

I’m trying to figure out a way to get ruch as shite off of the coming AI bubble burst

I can't provide an example of something that hasn't happened yet, but is happening right now.

But I can timeline stuff for you, since you want to be obtuse about the matter.

2015 - Artifcial Intelligence? Like in the movies? Terminator was a great flick. And 2001 Space Oddessy. Sounds cool.

2020- Candidate for president and Tech millionaire runs on a platform of universal basic income for all Americans because AI will take over. Laughed out of the room.

2025/6- Corporations are laying off hundreds of thousands of workers because AI can now do their jobs.

2030?

2035?

2040?

2035?

Idiocracy comes true, and they use Powerade for crop irrigation and lawn hydration. While AI goes out of style like an 8 track

2040?

Barron Trump elected President in landslide on wave of support for his Farts First agenda with Cardi B as vice president

I still think that Andrew Yang might be president one day. When shite really hits the fan with AI, we will look to a really smart Asian who tried to warn us about this in the first place.

Human beings are reactionary and it's probably one of those things that we won't see coming until it happens, and then after that we'll try and figure out what to do. But part of it will probably have to do with AGI job displacement and double digit unemployment.

So, no actual example of the shite storm.

Were you alive before the internet?

None of the tech workers that are freaking out about AI had tech jobs before that because there was no tech

That doesn't mean the job market and economy won't be screwed after the tech bro sector gets clobbered, unless you're one of those people who believes that AI will create millions of cool new high-paying jobs that no one has thought of yet.

Discussing actual Georgia football around here is a lot to ask for this time of year. More likely to get pictures of pork cooking and links to baby boomer music. Occasionally a game of hangman will break out. But I have learned to adjust.
