This is SEC related as Deontay is a Tuscaloosa guy (respect) and an “unofficial” heavyweight champion for the Crimson Tide. He wanted to play basketball there but had to provide for a child so opted for a career in boxing due to his natural power with his straight. and IMO arguably the hardest straight right in boxing history. Holmes had the best jab. But in terms of a straight right, I’d want no part of a Wilder straight. Basically if he connected with you in his prime, it was lights out.
