Womack, as well as Chris Kapilovic and Robert Gillespie, need to depart.

Alabama's defense was just average, ranking 60th in sacks and 52nd in interceptions, which doesn't match the talent on the team. In big games, they often fell apart at key moments, getting caught off guard by obvious plays that good coaching should have prepared them for. With so many skilled players, not creating more big disruptive plays is hard to excuse. Kane Wommack was not ready for top-level college football.

Alabama also ended the year ranked 118th in ruishing, even though they had an offensive line and group of running backs loaded with top four- and five-star recruits—guys who should have been dominating with the right coaching. Not being able to run the ball effectively at all led to several losses and almost cost them even more games because they couldn't control the clock or set the pace.

Needs to be the number one pursuit in the offseason before anything else.
