Whats the confusion? We'll never be top bidder in these NIL recruitments. That's not Kirby's philosophy. Jacobs isn't the first in-state guy to take a bag from a desperate program.

While it seems fun to pay millions year after year just to fall short, I think it’s better to play the players you recruited and win nattys
