Best & Worst of CFB

The next few weeks are exhibit A of just how bizarre this sport has become.

You've got 12 teams locked in to try and earn the ultimate prize. Which, no doubt will produce the most exciting games of the year and players whom fanbases worship. It's everything we love about the pageantry and tradition of CFB.

And, then, on the flip side, you've got tons of kids already announcing their intention to portal out in search of more $/playing time. Some of whom are doing this for the second and third time, treating their "commitment" as a 10-12 mos gig. Which then has fans turning on & trashing them, claiming good riddance. It's everything we despise about the business and soulessness of modern CFB.

I guess that juxtaposition has been there for a minute. But, it just seemed especially jarring this year for some reason.
