You'd be hard pressed to find another team in college football with a tougher opening 2 game conference schedule. I guess that gives a great chance to make a statement!

Yup that was stupid. The less OOC games the harder to rank teams. You need OOC games to help show a conferences performance over more games.
For us having the RRS means we should always have 4 true home and road games. We won’t have 5 true road games like some SEC teams (but we won’t get 5 true home games either)

Great point, ugh. And for P4 schools, W/L record is CFP's #1 or one of the top 2 metrics. We will beat each other up all season while ACC or B12 teams get ranked higher.

That whole program is being gutted. We play them early on the road. Have an opportunity to get a big road win. Will be curious who they bring in, they still have talent but portal isn’t open yet.
