And #1 Texas, not even making a 12 team playoff. Why these chimpanzees thought a team with a first year starting QB would be #1 just shows the AP voters are indeed chimpanzees. And I've heard the coach's poll is one where they let their kids fill it out. They are busy, don't even watch all the games, only film breakdown of whoever is next on their schedule.

They need to make the coach's poll the Retired Coach's Poll so guys like Spurrier and Orgeron and Saban and a host of other retired coaches put in their polls. That's a poll that would carry some weight.

Lots of preseason polls and pundits were high on both because of returning QBs that played well last season. Both of these teams declining is coaching malpractice.

Not only that - Texas Tech has probably the biggest NIL collective in the country. They will be good for the foreseeable future. Legalizing spending just made teams that have very rich collectives very marketable for recruits and transfers.

I don't think those are that egregious, at least they were on people's radar preseason as being in the top quintile of FBS.

They say people’s dogs start to resemble their owners

This team resembles Kirby. Relentless, tough, hyped, attitude

DeBoer is too nice. That shite will never work long term

There’s some killers out there though. Texas tech coach is an assassin and Indiana coach is basically an autistic serial killer
