It is hilarious that an 11-1 SEC school is having their coach bolt

for another college gig, and at Ole Miss;

But can the LSU fans OTB please quit pretending like Ole Miss is being unreasonable by not letting Lane continue

Nobody thinks he should coach the playoffs. People just understand that he wants to. Ole Miss and LSU fans do not want him coaching

Bolting after the season. Ole miss is the one who won’t allow him to finish. You dumbasses can’t seem to get that around your head.

The fact that Lane thinks its fine to bend Ole Miss over behind a dumpster in an alley & they should just let him continue to work there is what's truly hilarious.

I don’t think anyone thinks it is unreasonable for Ole Miss to not allow Lane to coach the team going forward. The problem is they are simultaneously trying to spin a narrative that Lane is choosing to walk out on his team before the playoffs. When in actuality it is Ole Miss forcing him out.

And you poors can't afford to fire Hippo, that's what's really funny.

They aren't forcing him out. He's taking another job in the middle of the season. If LK wanted to coach Ole Miss then he could have told LSU "no thank you" or "you'll have to wait till the season is over".

We could definitely afford it, we just have a fanbase of pussies who are largely fine with Heupel still.

Which is way worse

The same guy left UT after a 7-6 season and the fans had a midnight riot.

Little Kaylen will probably frick around and give him another win next year to lock in the next 5 years of mediocrity

Ole Miss is missing out on their only chance at a title, back to irrelevancy now

Well guess we’ll see if Sumrall coaches Tulane in their conference championship game, already knowing he is leaving for another job.

Deboer is in the SEC championship in year two. I'll take it.
