Ole Miss would be wise to take that advice. If LSU is willing to let Lane continue coaching the playoff team Ole Miss should let lane.
Theyre focused on punishing lane, but this is going to harm their program more. Lane is gone either way for a bigger job, and I get the anger. But the calendar is to blame for this. Don’t punish your team just to get even with lane.

Dog shite take here. He’s literally slapping ole miss in the face. His antics over the last few weeks have negated everything he’s done there. Ole Miss owes him absolutely nothing. Pack your shite and leave.

Yep. They are throwing a tantrum and in the process they are wasting the best season in Ole Miss football history. It’s pretty pathetic honestly

And he’s also continued coaching and winning through that.

So you’d be fine with your wife nailing some dude from Baton Rouge as long as she comes home and cooks dinner?

No last season was the best in history. Kiffin already wasted that by losing to Kentucky, Florida and LSU.

I believe comparing marriage and the coaching carousel is what we call a false equivalency.

If the NCAA would have moved NDS back to February after the 12 team playoff was implemented no school nor coach would be put in this position.

I get it.. but that’s not the reality. The reality is Kiffin has been remarkably unprofessional over the last few weeks. I totally get leaving Ole Miss for LSU, but do it with some dignity and integrity.

They would still be trying to get an edge and have the new coach start as soon as possible

Right. They should reward LK for bending them over & going in dry during the best year they've ever had. Really odd that LSU fans want to sit in the corner & beat their micro P while Ole Miss fricks their gf.

I’d bet some ole Miss fans care more about this football season than they do their wives.

Probably so - which I guess is my point.
You can hate your wife (Kiffin) all you want, but don’t punish the kids (players) and take away Christmas (playoffs) because you and your wife hate each other.
Remove kiffin from program marketing, make him park across the street, refuse to give him a ring, make his life miserable, all fair game. It’s just my view this is harming the players more.

Was there ever any other way he would leave? FAU is the only spot I remember him leaving with no drama

Man frick these kids. They are getting paid and they don’t give two shits about Ole Miss. I’m sure the eligible ones will follow him to LSU.

Besides that, if I were a player on that team I’d want that traitor out of my program immediately.
Would we have wanted Nick Saban to coach us in the playoffs if he’d just signed to coach Alabama?

When you have an MSU fan coming to the defense of Ole Miss(a day after the Egg Bowl, no less), you know you have a dogshit take.

Who's the one harming the players? Not Ole Miss. They want LK to stay & coach this team but he's on the hunt for some historic money grab from LSU.
