Good watch but the interesting I noticed here that I didn’t realize in the game is Ryan Williams actually got open quite a bit more than I saw. I’ve been tough on his route running but there were multiple times Ty either just didn’t go to him in the progression or he just didn’t pull the trigger for whatever reason. I understand Ty trusting Germie more but man there are plays to be had here. If they can get there chemistry going maybe the offense will start heading back on track.

i nice to see plays from the other angles. Give me hope with having a lot of open guys on a lot of plays there.

If you go to a game you’ll see guy open vertically all day, we just can’t get them the ball.

Our short to intermediate passing game went from elite to good, but our vertical passing game is inept and without it we can’t get anywhere we want to go given the OL.

When we do throw it over the top the receivers are typically waiting on the ball.

The closest we get to it is when run 2 minute and Ty can rip deep intermediate passes in stride and we get YAC. Realistically that’s as close as weve come to keeping the safeties honest and when we’ve done it we’ve had the most efficient drives of the season.

I suspect we are going to hear about a surgery for Ty after the season before the NFL draft like what happened to BY in his junior year where he couldn’t push the ball downfield but I don’t have any evidence to back that up.

Film study showed everything I had been saying.

Ty was holding the ball not hitting checkdowns, however I didn't realize he was fixating on Germie. On that pick 6, not only did Ty not do his pre-snap to adjust blocking and determine his first read, he threw an errant pass.

Go to minute 30 where Ty misses not just on the pass to an up Germie Bernard but he misses another homerun fade to Ryan not even seeing he has single coverage and destroyed his defender.

Ryan is WIDE OPEN. That one pass would have won us the game!!

The reality for us is from film study these teams have figured out that Ty has not thrown the deep ball accurately all season and he fixated on Germie.

What he did exceptionally was throw those intermediate digs, outs and ins. He also processed well before the snap, made adjustments well.

The game against Oklahoma he cost us a pick 6 by not doing some of that. He blew multiple TD passes and drives, including our last drive with inaccuracies on passes he was hitting without footing weeks ago

I know people want to make it an injury... or anything to not make Ty accountable but we don't hear that from coaches or from CodeName. What we have heard is "He has to get rid of the ball", "He has to take what is open", "He has to be accurate deep to help the run game".

Kirby in the second half gave every DC the blueprint on how to slow us down.(some teams like tenner just didnt have the players) I agree with Ystar in that unless he hits on the deep throws to loosen up that box then the results will be the same as the past few games.

I have confidence he will get that done. I also agree that he is not injured. He maybe hurting from getting sacked, but that is a pain issue that comes with playing

Load of crap. We played with a lead the entire half. When push came to shove and Bama needed a first down to seal it, boom. There was nothing UGA could do to stop it.

We have no other way forward. We need Ty to get it together because we will win the National Championship if he does.

If he continues this downward trend for whatever reason, we won't even make the playoffs.

Well that was a heck of a play by Ty and some very amazing playcalling by Grubb.

The difference from then to last Saturday is Grubb is still calling amazing plays just the moron section of our fanbase who can't tell their own arse from their face think he isn't.

Our QB who grew to be a first pick just has regressed for weeks now.

The film doesn't lie. He's missing deep players (either a poor pass or outright not seeing it), he has time but holds the ball too long and now he's even missing the throws he could make 3 weeks ago blindfolded.

I think the main issue is that he doesn’t know what kind of protection he’s getting from one snap to the next and that’s playing with his head!
I do not think he has an injury other than the typical bumps and bruises from throughout the season. His mechanics are the same, he’s just rattled and understandably so.

This is an excuse because he is setting up those block protections and two of the sacks were because he didn't just throw the ball to his outlet.

Look at the film. For the most part the line blocked well enough against a very good DL. The RBs (especially terrible Jam) blew some blocks.

In the end when he sees a blitz coming he has to get rid of it. That first down on the last drive he saw a zero blitz we could never block and not only held the ball, ran backward.

That is what put us in a 2nd and 21.

Then he blew the wide open Horton first down the next play then threw the ball low and behind RW on 4th down.

I think he was rattled because Skeletor was changing things so much on defense and Ty couldn't keep up mentally.

He literally missed blitzes, threw into bad coverages and outright missed wide open players

If Ty Simpson played even average we win by a TD. If the guy who played those key games showed up last Saturday we would have put up 40 on Oklahoma

If Missouri's QB Pribula is recovered I wouldn't be surprised to see them beat Oklahoma.
