While everyone was pointing and laughing at his hire, he fricked around and made the SEC CG in his first year at LSU. Pretty big statement.
SEC is tough.
I don't know what coach would want to coach at LSU, except maybe Ed O.
Would y'all hire him back? He'd work cheap....

LSU panicked. Option B is have a come to Jesus summit with a coach at the end of the season, and ask him what more his program needs and what changes need to be made. Hit the re-set button.
Florida should have done this with Mullen after 2021.
It worked for Georgia after the 2010 season. Richt needed a re-set. Got some new coaches and did some things different as an organization and Georgia went on a nice run.

Hush. All yall did was poke fun at us for having him as our coach for 4 years. This is revisionist history. He wasn’t trying at his job and deserves to be fired just like any of us would for being lazy and neglecting duties.

Even if we spectacularly crash and burn, no one will regret moving on from Kelly. He just never quite fit.
