Why play a tough non-con? What is the eye test metric?

The problem with the committee is there isn't a clear and defined rubric for what teams must do to get rewarded. Sadly, the only thing the committee has done is shown what not to do. So why schedule a tough non-con? You don't get rewarded for it. So why do it?
Further, what is this eye test metric? What the hell is that? If you can't clearly state what it is you are evaluating, it's a buzz word for bullshite. Further, let's talk bias. We have seen big 10 bias again and again, year after year. So let's not pretend Mack Rhoades didn't graduate from Indiana.

It provides the flexibility needed for ESPNs directives.
