That fan base sets themselves up for disappointment by trying to be something they aren't. Embrace the lower 1/3 of the SEC and just happy you are in the SEC. Better teams need auburn to beat for cupcake games.

That’s just not true at all. Auburn is always a great QB away from an undefeated season. I don’t like it but it’s always a fact.

Asking an Auburn fan how many championships they have is like asking them what they’re packing. They say 9 but it’s really 3-5.

According to who?
Who are you, or anyone back then, to say in 1913 and 1914 we didn't earn it?
Undefeated in 1913, shutout 6 of 8 opponents allowed 13 points all year. What else could have been done to "earn it"? People who never saw one snap of Auburn football and who 90+% didn't seen any of the contending teams play are able to decide who earned it?
1914 didn't allow a single point all year.
1983 head easily the best resume.
1993 only undefeated team.
2004 easily the best resume
1910 and 1958 pretty questionable but frick it college football is, and always has been, so broken this is what they get.
