Scholarships have always been one year renewable, even before NIL.

Given that there is no way of replacing players mid season, or of players being able to go and pickup with another team, no.

After the season you can’t fire them but these NIL deals I believe are year to year, so make of that what you will.

Why are we making posts like this when we're on a 5 game win streak including 3 straight wins over ranked teams?

Agreed. But there are players that could be replaced tomorrow and make things better immediately. (Right tackle).

No, there aren’t. We have no means of adding players in the middle of the season to replace “fired” players.

Plus 'Eligibility' is not granular enough; e.g. shorter than 1 year.

Seems like a dicey situation where if there is strong cause any. But otherwise you don’t want that rep

Can’t fire players mid season but I think this trend of coaches being fired mid season is only going to get worse. Too much money being paid to players and someone is going to pay the price.
