USC, question for you. What is all the hype behind Lane Kiffin?
He hasn't really been a head coach. At least not a successful nor well-liked one. Not sure where the hype that he is going to be so great coming from when he was just on the staff of Pete Carroll. That doesn't guarantee him success.

ok. i was just wondering because "wonder boy" hasn't accomplished much, yet. His assistants (Monte, Ed O, guy from Stl. Rams) appear to be more qualified to be head coach than he does.
They have to sell UT and Monte to recruits because you can't sell Lane Kiffin. There's nothing to sell. If his assistants don't do well, it's over because he doesn't appear to have the resume' to run up against the coaches in this conference that he keeps disrespecting.

Knoxville is so hyped up because its only February and we're already more relevant than anytime in the last 4-5 years when we were losing to Bama and Florida every stinkin year.
I don't know what kind of success Kiffin will have, but anything is better than the irrelevance we had acquired over the last few years. Did you know Fulmer had a losing record in the SEC over the last 5 years??
