So many big games left why freak out over polls that have no meaning

A lot of people are still in the bcs/4 team playoff era mindset and it still hasnt quite clicked that we're in a completely new college football paradigm. There's still constant debates and worrying about who's ranked where and why this team is overrated or that team is underrated. Literally none of that matters.

The formula is actually pretty simple- if you're a big ten or sec team, win 10 games and you're in the playoffs. That's it. None of the rankings matter and won't change a thing once you're taking the field for a playoff game. The regular season means absolutely nothing except getting to 10 wins and getting into the playoffs.

Whether you liked the old system better or not is irrelevant, this is the new game we're playing so you better get used to it.
