Ugh! Nothing good at all about that game. I’m no insider, but I suspect Mateer forced his way into the line up before he was ready. Blame that one on the coaches.

BV did not dial up much pressure on Manning. Allowed him to scramble to play backyard ball.
Ott - high priced bust, make him pay it all back, kick him off the team.
I hate to say it, with zippo offense, I can see us losing 4 of the remaining 6 games.
Offense does well against the Kent States, but stalls otherwise.

I agree 100%, the coaches should have seen he wasn't throwing well, maybe rusty but it seemed by their game plan they assumed he was 100%. There was a point mid-2nd quarter when it was clear he wasn't right. Just dumb.
