Apparently Foley said that. I don't know if I quoted it right or if he did say that, but Stricklin should have done this last year instead of putting out that stupid "statement of confidence".

I won't because I don't think the admin cares enough to do it. Maybe they'll finally prove me wrong, but this is ridiculous that he's still here.

At least he's sucking so bad he's practically forcing the UAA's hand to make a move. It's not even mediocre or below average this year. This is outstanding in how pitiful of a job he is doing.

Whatever must happen ultimately should happen immediately.

Henry Kissinger

But yes Foley said basically the same thing.

I wish Spurrier or Foley chose our next coach..it will be Scott though. Hopefully it is an expected coach and not someone out of left field.

I wouldn't trust Foley either as Zook, Muschamp and McElwain were the only 3 football coaches he controlled who the pick was.

He did not choose Meyer? Honestly asking. And Muschamp should have worked out. Sad it did not.

No President Machen from Utah made it clear Meyer would be the choice. Machen even disrespected Spurrier telling the media he could apply like anyone else before Spurrier took the SC job later. Foley had no choice really.
