Destrehan defensive tackle Darrington Sentimore's 11th hour dalliance with LSU ended right where it started with Sentimore remaining an Alabama commitment.

Sentimore, one of Louisiana's premier recruits and a nationally-ranked defensive line prospect, re-affirmed his verbal commitment to Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide on Monday following an official visit to LSU this past weekend. Destrehan Coach Steve Robicheaux confirmed Sentimore's decision.

Did LSU ever offer him? I knew they held off for a long time because of his academics.

There really is no spin. We're not even sure he got offered by LSU just yet. Just have to wait to see how this all plays out in two days. This shite has been crazy for the past two weeks now.

LSU will finish #1 with Randle and a few others. Don't get excited, Ohio won't last long at #1.

I don't really think this was as much of a "flip" as many think. He was told very early on from the LSU coaches that he needed to get his grades in order. He did that and Les put the charm on him.

He's not in the clear just yet but all signs point to him qualifying.

Alabama might just end up #1. This board will be fun on Wed.

I would love to have him at LSU, but it's nice to see that a commitment means something to some kids.

Saban and Alabama were willing to take a chance on him and Les and LSU were not.

Sentimore chose to stand by his man. In this case, his man has HUGE Matt Dillon pearly white choppers and stands 5 and a half feet tall.

That doesn't necessarily mean he got an offer, only that he got in that kid's head. He very well could have been offered a "sign and place" since his grades are still somewhat of a question. Like I said, we'll just have to wait and see.
