Sacramento State is trying to move up to FBS this year although it doesn't appear likely. They are promising players revenue sharing and are attempting to build up a $50m warchest to pay players. Jaden Rashada recently transferred there.
Just a reminder that in this new era, just because your school has been historically better than another, doesn't mean they will continue to be.

if a small school offers you big money out of HS, that's best case possible. Get a big pay check + the ability to put up big numbers early before transferring. That should be the recipe for most recruits who are good but not elite.

This guy is a top 100 player on a couple of services though.

He's obviously really good, good enough to put up big number for a freshman at a school like sac st more likely than a big school. Not saying he couldn't play a lot at a p5
