We are adding tons of staff to our football program. This will set us up better whenever we have coaching changes as there is an infrastructure in place to keep things going.

Dawson is a strong move. As the college game starts to look more and more like the pro game, you need guys with NFL experience in your front office.

This is now a no holds barred business.

We are setting up exactly like NFL.

College coached used to do everything. Imagine how many NFL coaches could manage everything it would be a disaster. Only difference is NFL knows who they have and for 4 years or so. And if they trade them they get value back.

College is now way harder as you still have recruiting plus players can leave at any time with no return on that investment. Money has to be dealt with. You need these pro guys to manage things and that helps free up HC to coach and meet with portals or recruits.

I think OU is ahead of the curve here.

after we staff up like the pros, and,
pay NIL like the pros -
to gain an advantage over the other programs that reach parity with us
we will need to build a dome to cover GFOMS and air-condition it.
plus a retractable roof for those rare nice weather home game days.

The arms race never sleeps.
