Why was the spring game cancelled instead of being moved indoors?

I apologize if this is already been discussed I'm a little bit out of pocket. To me it seemed like today was really mostly clear except for a few scattered thunderstorms in my area which is on the border of Springdale and Fayetteville. I realized the importance of the spring game is not what it used to be but is there no way for us to be able to reschedule or to move it to inside?

They’ll probably still use that practice to go in to the stadium to do it but the fanfare won’t be there.

By listening to Sam in a press conference it didn’t seem to matter one way or another whether it happened or not. I’m sure they have scrimmaged against one another during practice and that they know pretty much what they have.

They had to go indoors last year and it wasn’t much to get excited about.

I get it. Thank you for the explanation. Just sucks.. I would have liked to watch it to get a little excited for the season but it is what it is.
