quote:
"I think that when the signing day comes, if we get some of the players that we have committed right now and a few more to complement them, it'll be an outstanding class for us in terms of what we need," Saban said. "We don't have quite the numbers that we had last year in terms of numbers of scholarships, but we feel good about the position that we're in right now and we just need to finish it, just like always.
I also i think miles could sell richardson as being the number 2 back behind scott. I think he could definitley see more playing time the keiland, murphy, trindon. Ford may redshirt (this is assuming that trent is better then ford which most think he is but i think they are about even). He could very well see as much playing time here as a freshmen as bama.
Sorry there is nothing going on and it's dead around here.

Keiland deserves the rock before Richardson dude.

quote:hey man i definitley agree. But that may not be what miles is telling richardson. I would be willing to bet that he is selling him on the number 2 spot.

but i think miles should play the best players anyway wheter it be keiland or richardson.

Richardson would have to impress Les like no one ever in the history of football. He likes to play his upper classmen. I have a hard time seeing TR as the #2 back, but I would welcome him coming in to try.

Srry but I don't think so. I agree that comment about the commitments made people talk in AL. I disagree about Richardson getting more playing time at LSU. We have just lost our top back from last season and you still have yours. Don't give me the bs about how Richardson can just wait a year and go behind one of the SEC's best backs. Recruits don't want to wait a year. They want immediate playing time. For Richardson, I believe Bama is the best place for him.

Ford played better than Richardson in post season games (All-Star). I think Ford is better FWIW!

He said as much as BAMA.

Can Saban make any statement without using "in terms of"? Similar to a chick using "it's like"....

I agree...Ford is damn good.

It would be great to get 2 elite backs in one class but even if we only get one were still loaded. So if we dont get Richardson im not going to crawl into a bottle

yeah thats what's funny. If we lose richardson we still have ford, but if they lose trent they are pretty fricked

I am proud of myself and I am bet you r proud of Alabama beating you guys as well. Dreaux, u think LSU is more offensive minded? LSU's offense and Alabama's offense last year had exactly the same philosophy!!! They both wanted to run first to open up the pass. Actually, I take that back. Bama did that. LSU would run it, then throw an interception, and the guy would run back for a touchdown.

i don't think miles is the type of guy to tell recruits they are guaranteed pt or that it looks like they would be the #2 rb. i may be naive but i think he tells the kids the best 22 will play and everybody has an equal shot. he seems to be a no bs straightforward type guy.
