For total files in the first half and 2425 and the second is just absolutely mind-boggling that game had zero flow towards the end

Though reading this made my head hurt, it was a tale of two completely different officiated halves.
The first half was entertaining, the second half was familiar with what we’ve seen all year. And I didn’t have a dog in the fight so the outcome wasn’t the reason of my opinion.
We went from let them play to foul and review crap we’ve all been disgusted with all year. Completely inconsistent.

I think the refs were worried that the game was getting out of hand after not calling anything in the first half. That was a rugby scrum. So they tightened the whistle and UF picked up a bunch of fouls. Then UH picked up a bunch as well. The Gators adjusted better than Houston and was able to shoot more FTs down the stretch. Great game. Sad any team had to lose that one. But the Gators held UH scoreless in the last 2 minutes. Defense wins titles.
