The article says that each team would be guaranteed $6 mil. I know Jerry Jones is out there, but would he really let Ole Miss get more guaranteed money than Arkansas ($5 Mil) for their game. It also doesn't make sense to pay them more because than Arkansas and A&M since the aTm/UA game will probably bring in a lot more money than an Ole Miss/Kansas.

I'm not bashing either of the teams. The game would probably be a good game and a success, but it just doesn't make much sense to pay them more when the other game will make more money.

ESPN will be shelling out the dough. It will be like the Bama/clemson game.

I can see Ole Miss fans shelling out the money for the tickets, but not so much for Kansas. Does't make sense. This is just like the rumors for an Alabama-Southern California matchup in Dallas. I believe Notre Dame has also been rumored to play a number of different teams in Dallas.

There's always a rumor swirling around about x team playing y in Dallas. Not enough people give a shite that live in Dallas give a shite about Ole Miss or Kansas to make the game viable.

We only have 6 scheduled home games next year, so I think this neutral-field matchup maybe pushed back a year or so.

It would be tight to break in the New Cowboys Stadium, but I don't see it happening due to our schedule.

The Texas state fair commission has been talking about us playing in Dallas, but apparently Ole Miss isn't interested. Just a rumor.

I can see more SEC teams getting involved with the Chik-Fil-A Kickoff in the next few years. Alabama has Penn State on the schedule in 2010, so someone will have to fill that open spot in Atlanta. It has too much opportunity to die after two seasons.

I just do not see Jones paying more for OM than his alma mater. He is huge part of the Hogs.

The Texas state fair commission

sounds like a game in the Cotton Bowl. Can't blame anyone for not wanting to play there once Jerry opens his palace. That is one uncomfortable stadium that the city of Dallas wasted millions on recently.
During this year's game we were so crowded a guy on our row had to stand in the aisle for three quarters. he finally got to sit down for part of the fourth after all the Texas Tech fans left.
