I bought Charles a beer in a nightclub in San Antonio one year. The suns were in town playing the spurs in a playoff game and he was out drinking the night before the game. He laughed and said the Spurs fans are trying to get me drunk so I play bad. Then he said thank you and took the beer. He was right, but that next day he hit the game winner at the buzzer and sent the Spurs home in 6.
