Per an article in Yahoo Sports, Buckeye HC Ron Day has been complaining to League offices about the lack of holding calls against opponents. It's been over 720 plays since the last holding call went against an opponent; Michigan ran 42 plays, against 8-9 man fronts, without a holding call; Oregon passed 42 times without a holding call. And Ohio State has had a top 10 defense, which should be giving opponents' OL problems. Not clear why but he's really been bitching about SEC refs.

Have Ryan Day watched tape of their tackles or DBs? Looks like they’re coached to hold.

Do you know whether Ryan Day has watched any film of their defensive backs or tackles? Holding appears to be their natural state.
