Im watching the Texas/ Clemson game. These teams combined for 5 loses this year, 3 of them are cuz of the Dawgs!

The other realization is that Clemson as the ACCC has no business in the playoffs. We blew them out and now Texas is blowing them out.
Do away with auto-bids for conference champions and select the best teams based on wins/losses and strength of schedule.
Also, it should be a 8 team playoff because there aren't 12 teams with a chance to win a NC.
Clemson, SMU, Arizona St. and Boise St. do not belong in a a playoff.

Agreed. 90% of the time these first round games are going to be slaughters.
Hell, most of the semifinal games under the Final Four CFP brackets were, too.

Naturally, when round 1 is highest vs lowest, then next highest vs next lowest, there's going to be some lopsided games.

Yep, especially Indiana because they got owned by the only 2 ranked teams that they played and had close games against crappy teams.
