Disney/ESPN is mad as hell.
The SEC will almost certainly not go to 9 conference games anytime soon and future scheduling of OOC games will certainly be looked at and revised. If you can make the playoffs with an SOS in the 70s without a conference championship, big revisions in scheduling will happen.

You'd think the talking heads might at least bring up this viewpoint instead of openly cheerleading for an undeserving team like smu.
