Benz seats 71k

16,300 per school are allocated to the participating institutions (less than 50% to schools)

The SEC distributes the remaining tickets to the SEC office, sponsors, suites, Mercedes-Benz lease holders and SEC Championship season ticket holders.

Stub Hub and Seat Geek are the real winners.

Other winners are those that bought season tickets to SECCG when it was in Birmingham and renewed each year.

Other SECCG thoughts for Texas folks:

DR Pepper stuff at World Congress Center is over rated but good when weather sucks.

People pile into CNN center if weather is bad.

Best already have reservations. People get to restaurants and don’t move.

Be wary prepaying for parking..they will say you have a lot close then get there and say the lot is full but they have others in slightly more hoody area.

Marta is ok but a pain in arse after the game. Never had a hard time parking around stadium.

Benz actually has decent food.

When should the secondary market tickets become available? Are they already?

Been out for a while as they are mostly sponsor tickets.

The ones that go to other SEC schools will slowly make their way onto market early in week.
