Stetson By God Bennett, UGAs greatest qb and one of the 2 most important players we ever had. Walker being the other.
Qb is damn important to even managing games.
Beck must have 10 times the tipped or blocked passes at 6'4.....

He's kind of the anti-Beck
All off-season 2021 people wanted to play JT Daniels instead and then wanted him to move on after 33-18, but he came back and won it all again. Always shat on and criticized.
Beck was treated like a golden boy, given a lambo, lots of NIL $, and a pretty hot tik tok influencer to bang despite looking like Shrek.
And he's been a total wet noodle.
Now I think some of the issues on offense are not all his fault. O line coaching may be an issue along with Bobo's offensive philosophy and playcalling. But he does not seem to have that "IT" that Bennett had.

One kid tough as nails no quit. The other had an absurd amount just handed to him.

Bennett was the perfect example of why an athletic QB is so important in college.
He could move quickly to avoid the rush and roll outside to find receivers or pick up important yardage running the ball.
Beck is much taller and has the stronger arm but his immobility is a liability with an OL that can't afford the protection he needs to be effective.
Translation: if you don't have a OL that can run block and maintain a pocket, you best have an athletic QB who can take the point of attack outside away from the oncoming DL.

Defenses have pick up on his inability to even put a little arc on the ball. Notice the tip/int last night and how the guy who tipped was at least a yard behind the line. Low throws = tips

On that play, I'm waiting for the Brooks Austin breakdown but what I saw in real time is the left guard standing there with his mouth open, not blocking anyone, and this DL standing a yard off the line just spying, you gotta go put a hand on someone, not just stand there and take the play off just because nobody is rushing your gap.

Yet why was there no arc to get it over the guy? He was right in front. Unless Napoleon dynamite locks in and zones everything else out, the dude couldn’t be missed.

QB can't watch secondary and LOS at the same time.
