There are certain moments in one's life one vividly recalls where they were when a historic moment happened. I remember like yesterday where I was when I learned Elvis died, Reagan was shot, and 9/11........and this, THIS GLORIOUS MOMENT.

I was at a 75lb ball game. We were the Powder Springs Cowboys playing the Fair Oaks Lobos. My dad and 3 of my friends dads were our coaches and they had a radio sitting on the metal bench with the game on. When Scott scored, our dads were going crazy along with many of the parents in the wooden bleachers. One UF fan on the top row of the bleachers also had a little radio and I remember him smashing it on the ground behind him.

I was 14. We lived in an old farm house that was falling down. Family and friends were over watching the game. Me and my best friend had given up in the final seconds and were making our way outside. There was literally a roar that erupted from the living room and the house started trembling. I thought the windows were going to fall out they were so old and ratty. Never will forget that.

Had a conversation with Raymond Scott (Lindsay’s brother) about that game, and that play.. he was at a friends house to watch the game, they all figured it was over, he got in his car to head home in defeat. As he was pulling down his street coming home and pulling into his driveway, his neighbors on both sides came running out of the house screaming and hollering about the play, he had no idea!
He missed the whole thing, HaHa!

Emailed you back. Daughter has a GSGA Invitational tournament this weekend at Bentwater in Acworth. I was planning on going until she got the invite a few weeks ago.

Also never forget the dip shite comments made by the ultimate POS - Steve Spurrier. Every time we beat the Gators, I imagine his face wrinkled like a prune as he whines about the loss.
